Statement by Camden Coalition of Healthcare Providers CEO Kathleen Noonan

On March 19, 2019, Governors Murphy’s proposed budget was released publicly. The proposed budget includes funding for the current Medicaid ACOs, as well as our Housing First pilot program, now in its third year.

“Governor Murphy’s budget book is a reflection of the administration’s strategic direction and focus areas, and includes many of the priorities of the Camden Coalition,” said Kathleen Noonan, CEO of the Camden Coalition. “Specifically, we are very encouraged that the Governor’s proposed budget continues to make regional care collaboratives such as the current Medicaid ACOs a priority and appropriates critical funding for our Housing First program, both of which are essential for better health outcomes within the city of Camden and regionally. On behalf of the Coalition, I thank Governor Murphy for his commitment to and validation of our work and look forward to working with him, his administration, and the legislature to realize the partnership the proposed budget envisions.”
