Our Community Advisory Committee (CAC) exists to enable healthcare consumers to take an active role in improving their own health and that of their family and community.
The CAC helps to guide the strategic direction of the organization by advising the Board of Trustees on consumer and community health needs.
Chairs: Bishop Gus Swain and Vincent “Country” White
The Community Advisory Committee meets monthly. CAC meetings are open to the public, and are held every fourth Thursday from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm on the 8th floor of our building at 800 Cooper St. Transportation, interpretation (Spanish), and childcare are available; please contact Maritza Gomez at [email protected] or Whitney Buchmann at [email protected] for more information.
The CAC is also involved in citywide community health initiatives like Take Back Our Health. Read about the inaugural Take Back Our Health Day on our blog.
