Steininger Center for Behavioral Health

Services are offered to adults and children who are experiencing problems associated with a severe mental illness or emotional disturbance. The adults served have a diagnosis of schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, major depression or personality disorder. Some also have a secondary problem with drug or alcohol abuse. Youth services help children who have a serious emotional disturbance or other psychological problems that have been treated through psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home placement. Counseling is also offered to those caring for a mentally ill person. Treatment ranges from temporary housing to outpatient counseling.
