AHEC - Syringe Access – The sterile syringe exchange is available on Tuesday’s from 1:30 to 4:30 and is located at Broadway and Fairview. This program also teams up with the AHEC Mobile Health Van to allow for health screenings as well as information and referrals to other social services.

Hispanic Family Center Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Services: Provides bilingual comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a special track for women with alcohol abuse problems.

VOA - Addiction Treatment Program: This program provides long and short term drug treatment for male and female adults. It is a state-of-the-art 72 bed residential facility. There is also an adjoining outpatient program delivers intensive treatment to clients in a group setting.Clients with co-occurring disorders or who require medication-assisted treatment for opiate dependence will be served. All treatment planning is individualized and group modalities include Motivational Enhancement Therapy, Pathways to Change, SMART Recovery for relapse prevention, and Trauma-informed care. Additional services provided include health education and vocational/educational counseling. All clients have a case manager who ensures the coordination of services both during and after treatment is completed.

CFFS Adult Substance Abuse Treatment Program: Provides substance abuse assessment, education and treatment for adults and their families at the outpatient and intensive care level. Group sessions and individual sessions are provided. Any adult suffering from substance abuse is eligible and there is no referral required.
