Center For Family Services (CFFS) Comprehensive Counseling: Individual and group counseling for families to address personal and relationship problems with a focus on children and families.

CFFS Family Intervention: Resource, Support, and Therapy (FIRST A): Family counseling, crisis intervention and intensive case management in the home. This includes strengthening the ability of a family to manage crisis.
Referral: Must be referred by DYFS for families with children 18 or younger.

Referral: Families that have no identified safety, abuse or neglect issues are eligible. All referrals come through the State Wide Central Registry, which anyone can reach at 877-625-2873.

Hispanic Family Center Family Counseling Clinic: Provides English or Spanish counseling for mental illness, families, adults or adolescents, but not to children. Clients are placed either in an intensive program or non-intensive depending on initial assessment.

South Jersey Behavioral Health: Offers a coordinated, comprehensive range of outpatient mental health services that include, but are not limited to: Individual, Group and Family psychotherapy, Marriage Counseling, Psychiatric Evaluation and Medication Monitoring, and Assessment and Referral. South Jersey Behavioral - COSTAR: This program offers services to the homeless who are mentally ill. The program was designed to recognize the fact that traditional services do not always reach all of those who need support. This unit operates a drop-in center in Camden City, which offers counseling, psychiatric services and MICA services. COSTAR also provides outreach and in-home services including counseling, linkage and referral services for financial aid, housing food, and medical services.

South Jersey Behavioral - The PACE (Providing Addictions Counseling and Education): This program is an adult partial care program for individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and chemical abuse. The program, which operates five days per week from 9a.m. to 3p.m., offers both an intensive outpatient component and full partial care services.

Housing with a Heart: Provides supportive housing services to individuals from Camden County who are homeless and who have a serious mental illness. This is a shared living program, which provides the resident with the privacy of his or her own bedroom, while offering common space for other activities of daily living. While residing in Housing With A Heart, the resident will be required to attend a daytime activity, such as a partial care program, work, school, or vocational rehabilitation. All residents receive supportive services from one of three participating community behavioral healthcare providers: UBHC-The MICA Club, South Jersey Behavioral Health Resources, Inc., and Steininger Behavioral Care Services.
Referral: The minimum criteria for potential residents are as follows: the referred consumers must meet HUD’ s definition of Homeless, must have verification of a disability, must have an income, must be able to live independently with as little as 1 to 3 hours supportive service contact per week, and must be a Camden resident.

Nueva Vida Behavioral Health Center: Nueva Vida is a multilingual/multicultural Health Center that provides bilingual mental health services to people of all ages. Nueva Vida's staff consists of Psychiatrist, Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist, Pychotherapists/Counselors for adults, children and adolescents. The Center offers Psychiatric Evaluations, Mental Health Evaluations, Counseling, Family Therapy, Group Therapy, Medication Management. They see clients for depression, anxiety, insomnia, Attention Deficit Disorders (ADD), addictions, marital problems, learning disabilities, parenting problems.

Steininger Center for Behavioral Health: Services are offered to adults and children who are experiencing problems associated with a severe mental illness or emotional disturbance. The adults served have a diagnosis of schizophrenia, bi-polar disorder, major depression or personality disorder. Some also have a secondary problem with drug or alcohol abuse. Youth services help children who have a serious emotional disturbance or other psychological problems that have been treated through psychiatric hospitalization or out-of-home placement. Counseling is also offered to those caring for a mentally ill person. Treatment ranges from temporary housing to outpatient counseling.
