Patty Vitale

Camden GPS Program Medical Director

Patty Vitale is the Medical Director for the Camden GPS Program.  She is a physician in Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Cooper University Hospital and also teaches Epidemiology as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the UMDNJ School of Public Health.  Originally from San Diego, Patty has worked as an educator, consultant, and advocate for child abuse victims, as well as for adolescents in the areas of violence prevention and substance abuse in California and New Jersey.  Currently, she directs the Camden GPS Program, where she seeks to evaluate the impact, as well as cost of violence on the healthcare system. Patty is a graduate of the University of California at Riverside, Jefferson Medical College, and San Diego State University.
