Medical Director of Clinical Informatics

Ernie Post is the Medical Director of Clinical Informatics, where he oversees the Coalition’s management of the Camden Health Database, a multi-year hospital claims database of all Camden hospitals.  With a clinical background in pediatrics and a degree in computer science, he merges the two to streamline the continuous collection and organization of the data so that additional feeds from the multiple hospital sources will be maintained in uniformity and consistency.  He also consults researchers who are interested in utilizing the Health Database in developing and evaluating new health interventions.  Ernie is a graduate of Columbia University, SUNY-Syracuse, and Cornell University.
