Substance Abuse

CFFS Adult Substance Abuse Treatment Program

Provides substance abuse assessment, education and treatment for adults and their families at the outpatient and intensive care level. Group sessions and individual sessions are provided. Any adult suffering from substance abuse is eligible and there is no referral required.

Camden Treatment Associates -

Provide outpatient and intensive outpatient opioid maintenance, outpatient methadone detoxification. Spanish speaking staff is available. They accept Medicaid and payment assistance is available if needed.

Sikora Center Inc.

Provides outpatient substance abuse treatment. Spanish speaking staff is available. They accept Medicaid and payment assistance is available if needed.

VOA – Addiction Treatment Program

his program provides long and short term drug treatment for male and female adults. It is a state-of-the-art 72 bed residential facility. There is also an adjoining outpatient program delivers intensive treatment to clients in a group setting.Clients with co-occurring disorders or who require medication-assisted treatment for opiate dependence will be served.

Hispanic Family Center Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Services:

Provides bilingual comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a special track for women with alcohol abuse problems.

AHEC – Syringe Access –

A sterile syringe exchange that also teams up with the AHEC Mobile Health Van to allow for health screenings as well as information and referrals to other social services.

The Addictions Hotline of NJ

Provides statewide information and referral for drug users and their families. Provide referrals to treatment, detoxification, self-help and support systems.

Project HOPE Addiction Recovery Support Group

Support group meets weekly to provide support for anyone recovering from or struggling with a substance abuse problem. Every Thursday at noon with lunch provided. No registration required.
