Staff Social Worker

Ana Aningalan is the Staff Social Worker for the Coalition’s Care Management Project. She has previously worked as a social worker in adult care and rehabilitation in the residential setting, as well as the hospital setting. Upon receiving her MSW, Ana was drawn to the Care Management Project and being able to work directly with vulnerable patient populations in the community setting. She currently works with the project’s high needs, high costs patients, helping them secure financial assistance, insurance coverage, housing, addictions treatment, as well as providing social support to encourage many patients make critical life management changes.

Originally from the Philippines, she spent many years of her childhood living in Camden. Ana is a graduate of Rutgers University and the Rutgers University School of Social Work in Camden.
